Launching Ceremony on MoEYS Professional Development Program to Enhance Leadership and Gender Equality

On 2 March 2023, KAPE participated in the launch ceremony on MoEYS Professional Development Program to Enhance Leadership and Gender Equality, funded by UNICEF, through CPDF III, under the leading role of The Asia Foundation. The program aims to provide training on Leadership and Gender Equality, starting with a foundational course for all MoEYS staff, that will be completed, in a second phase, with additional elective courses in specific topics such as Mentoring, Decision Making Professional Development and Public Speaking. Starting from March 2023, the program will start the roll out of the foundational Leadership training starting with 25 high-ranking officials, in Kampong Cham, from 13-17 March. KAPE, under the leading role of TAF, contributed to the development of the Training Material, will be responsible for the roll out of the training at National and Sub-national level (target under the project: 207 (95F) MoEYS staff, including 35 women in leadership positions, from POE offices) and the digitalization of the Leadership Course in the MoEYS U-learning Platform. The project aims to conduct a first pilot phase until April 2023, followed by the finalization of the training material and additional training roll out until June 2023.
