In an era where technology plays a pivotal role in shaping the destiny of the next generation, Chea Samprathna, a Grade 11 P3 student at Prek Leap High School, has emerged as an outstanding role model in embracing Artificial Intelligence (AI) for self-development. Before stepping into the world of the AI Literacy Program, known as AI Ready ASEAN (AIR), Samprathna perceived AI as merely a simple tool for applying photo filters or asking basic academic questions. However, after immersing himself deeply in this program, his perspective has completely shifted. He discovered that AI is a potent intelligent agent capable of facilitating complex tasks and simplifying difficult challenges in daily life.

The most significant turning point for Samprathna was Module 2, which focuses on the foundations and types of AI. This module opened his eyes to the diversity of AI systems, each possessing unique capabilities and specialized functions, often referred to as "Specialties." Understanding these distinctions has become a sharp tool for Samprathna, allowing him to select and utilize technological tools with high precision and efficiency. This newfound knowledge has not only provided him with theoretical insights but has also transformed his daily learning habits. Currently, Samprathna utilizes AI for academic essay writing, enhancing reading skills, learning new languages, translating and explaining technical terms, and even managing his personal schedule and creative entertainment.

This positive transformation is not something he intends to keep to himself. Driven by a spirit of sharing and a desire to see a stronger society, Samprathna aims to disseminate this knowledge to his classmates and family members through direct teaching, practical demonstrations, and by convincing them of the real-world benefits of this technology. Regarding his future goals, Samprathna is committed to continuing his use of AI as an intelligent assistant for analyzing advanced lessons, solving complex mathematical problems, and researching global information to broaden his horizons. He firmly believes that students' participation in AI literacy is a vital contribution to advancing Cambodia's digital education and digital economy, ensuring the nation can compete honourably on regional and global stages.

Samprathna expressed in detail that "Before I was introduced to the AI Ready ASEAN (AIR) project, I used technology only at a basic level and for entertainment. But now, AI has become an intelligent assistant that helps me with essay writing, language learning, and organizing my daily tasks efficiently. I believe that learning about AI is not just about learning to use a machine; it is about learning how to amplify our own potential to contribute to the prosperity of our nation's digital economy."

He also added concisely that "Studying Artificial Intelligence is the most essential key that facilitates research and improves the quality of life for students, both for the present and the future."
