Kampuchea Action Promote Education, a local NGO based in Kampong Cham, seeks a qualified National Candidate as Project M&E Officer, base in Kampong Cham Province, activities in 55 schools, which fund support by Kinchan Foundation called Happy Cambodian Children Project (HCC).

The Project M&E Officer will provide assistance to HCC project to ensure that activities adhere to the educational quality standards intended and carry out the program work plan and meet objectives of each component. The Project M&E Officer will provide oversight and support to M&E system in the implementation of all technical, School access, and governance activities.

Main Duties:

• Facilitate with DTMT and cluster director to organize data collection and school information.
• Work and collaborate with Krousar Yoeung to promote project activities linking pre-school to primary school.
• Provide school stakeholders with capacity building on how to manage school data and others.
• Assist in developing M&E system to ensure that it is easy to access and user friendly.
• Provide technical support to school stakeholders particularly teachers on using EWS, tablet and computer.
• Work closely with the ICT team to provide training, technical assistant to school stakeholders.
• Report project activities to the program manager, technical coordinator, and M&E coordinator.
• Collect and store all MoEYS EMIS Data and relevant Educational Research Data.
• Do activity spot checks monthly, quarterly, semester and yearly.
• Arrange the project M&E plan with integrating other sections.
• Monitor and follow up on the project log frame and indicators.
• Perform other tasks that may be requested by the supervisor.

Required qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g, education, development, or management) or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in education system and/or school development
• At least 2 years of experience with M& E, ICT component as well as technology
• Ability to work in a team
• Ability to monitor project implementation based on indicators agreed with the donor.
• Good administrative skills for managing an education development project.
• Ability to work well with the government education system and school directors.

Salary Range: 2,000,000៛ - 2,300,000៛ based on candidate qualification.
